I discover PopSeoul
I have a confession: my newest guilty pleasure is the totally bitchy blog PopSeoul, basically a blog about Korean entertainment stuff.
The writers of the site are incredibly shallow and appearance-obsessed, dislike half the stars I like, and attract crazy commenters, but that is what makes reading the blog so much fun.
Some of my favorite things were the post/reactions to the announcement of that period epic gay movie with JJM and Jo In-Sung. Not only does PopSeoul seems to think JIS is gay and was making snide comments (I honestly have no opinion on it, and don't really care. He is an amazing actor, is super-hot, and can portray a straight person convincingly when required to, which is all that concerns me) but the replies were cracking me up so much, alternating between 'nooooo, he is NOT gaaaaaay, noooooo!' and 'two men making out? HOT' and 'two guys making out is SICK and GROSS and WRONG.' LOL. There were people who shared my opinion (i.e. the movie seems interesting and whether JIS is gay or not is immaterial) but luckily for my amusement, crazies predominated.
I am seriously weird though: PopSeoul hates Bae Yong Joon, doesn't like Rain, was mocking Gong Yoo, and drooling over Kwon Sang Woo's body at the same time as bashing his personality, in addition to picking on JIS, and that is precisely why that site amuses me! I don't think they have a good word to say about anyone. LOL.
Also, I love their commenters. My favorite has to be this (one of the replies to a post about LDG and HJH's break-up):
NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Its Like y Whole Life Is Ruined when I Red This!!!! But IWill Not Accept This News I Love Them BOTH!!!! And I LOVE THEM TOGETHER!!!! HAN JI HYE & LEE DONG GUN FOREVER!!! i hope Ji Hye or Dong Gun Can Read My Comment. And Still Have A Chance Of Getting Them Back Together Again!!! IM SO SO SO SO SUPER DUPER SAD!!! But Im Still Going To Pra For Them So That They Can Have Thier Ralationship Back…!!! And Im Going To Wish It For My Birthday!!! If God Granded this!!! I Will Be Super Happy An Super thankful!!! I HOPE!!!!!!!! I Believe That The Can Still Fixed Thier Problems!!!

ETA: According to that website, Sung Yuri (Snow Queen, One Fine Day, Hong Gil Dong) is dating...creepy!not!brother from OFD! Heeee. LOL. That's kinda insane when placed in the context of OFD and puts a whole new meaning to those smouldering-creepy looks he gave her. Heh.
