I got 1247.00$ tax return and I could just die with all the possibilities I can get done with this money.

My dad is so smart.  And pretty damn generous too.  He fixed my car up real nice.  As in, I have a REAL car now.  When he came down, I took him for a test drive, then he drove it a bit, and looked under the hood.  He made me drive it home and spent the next week replacing parts, adding parts, and fixing up the mess Kate's dad left behind.  Not only ( Read more... )

I thought I was **this close** to getting the car sold.  I had two people interested in it enough to stop by.  But they didn't.  So I still have a car.  And if I play my cards just right, I'll be able to pay my bills well enough though this month and next.  In August, I'll have my financial aide check (assuming I get as much as I think I'm getting ( Read more... )

 You know, if all else fails, I can always work in a hotel.  I'm getting good at reserving rooms and keeping already made reservations.  I'm also pretty damn good at smooth over feathers on parents who waited until the last minute and can't get a room.  I'm pretty good at customer service. :-)
