I've submitted my resume and applied everywhere in east pheonix and so far I've only gotten 1 interview and the guy that interviewed me had a dry personality and wasn't really prepared. I hope I don't get that job.
This is getting really frustrating. how is it possible that I have submitted apps everywhere and no responses? I counted 10 resume submissions, plus the places i applied at in person, plus all the craigslist ads, it probably totals to over 20 submissions. This is all i can do with me being in Tucson right now so I'd at least like some interviews set up for the end of this week/beginning of next week. I refuse to apply to some low grade job that insults my intelligience, but at the same time I need to stay in my area that I'm going to school for.
On top of that, Pep boys in L.A. owes me money for a repair they screwed up and now they don't want to mail it to me cuz its under 300 dollars. I've gone in a few times while I was there, i called them almost every day, the check was never available, i constantly asked for it to be mailed but when I move they tell me cuz its under 300 that they can't mail it to me and still had the nerve to ask me to come in! I was like "excuse me sir, I'm 500 miles away and I told you guys that I'm moving before all this mess started" "well you still have to come in and pick up the cash". I dunno how many times I told them "this is getting out of hand, I need t speak with a manager and settle this, that's all" and I still get the same response. uuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggghhhhhhhh...I'm calling them at 8 in the morning and chewing out their stupid manager! and then I'm gonna report them to the better business bureau...seriously..how do you run a business with that kind of horrible communication? I've been patient with them all this time...4 months of this! they better take care of this tomorrow!
