just an update
Well it seems as though my prof has made the decision for me in math. There was another girl who had a conflicting sceduale on one of the midterms in math, and she was told yesterday that we can add the percentage from the midterm onto the final- as a way to make it up. Technically this now means i can go to the concert. But my final will be worth 65% as apposed to 50% of my mark..
Either way you cut it, my final is worth a lot. I would rather do the midterm, and have a chance to review everything, than not do my midterm at all.
Course this also means that i get to see Def Leppard and Bryan Adams in concert.
Could be a lot worse.. course it also could have been a lot better.
I find -more often than not- that i rarely get my way, especially where academics are concerned. But i am also finding that i am not really being true to myself anymore. Go figure.
I have made a few decisons as of date that i have not informed anyone about.
1. I am starting singing lessons again in september- i love singing and i want to finish my degree
2. I am going to be participating in a marathon or triathilon in the next coming year. -this might end up being in two years time, depending how long it takes me to get in shape.
3. I want to travel- I have 2 more semesters here until i graduate.- I want to see the world, and possibly travel while i am going around it.
4. I want to chop my hair and get a tattoo on my ankle.. some of you might have balked at the idea of melissa and a tattoo.. but it is something i have always wanted.. so there..
oh.. THE LAST THIRD WATCH IS ON TONIGHT~~~ THEY ARE ENDING THE SERIES!! I wish someone had told me sooner..
the wedding is tommorrow.. im so excited i can barely contain it.. Cant wait!!!
Tommy and I saw Sin City last night.. it was really gorey- If you like seeing that kind of thing than see it. It has an all-star cast, so it isnt that bad, but i didnt think it was worth all the hype.
Course i am a person who likes movies that have substinance.. movies that dont have to show people being killed.. in many different ways.. with blood spirting and death eminant.
When i go to a movie, i like to excape from the violence.. not have it be in a movie that lasts 2 1/2 hours..
