Fearsome men from the ACT
I went and watch the Raiders today and they had a good victory. A nice change from the last few weeks. Bumped into a couple of friends on the way in, which was pleasant also. Drank plenty of beers. Also realised with the daylight savings that I gain an extra hour for tomorrow's seven am kickoff, rather than missing out on the extra hour's sleeping.
Due to the fact I have been drinking plenty of beers, I have been viewing various videos on Youtube. One that came up on the recommended was of Parkway Drive playing at Reading.
Televised on the BBC, etc, etc. The main thing that stood out to me was old mate in the middle of the crowd with a Chile flag. Which made me think of the time I saw them in Chile, and I reckon that smaller style show is probably something they would probably more enjoy.
Then I thought of bands that are really properly enjoyed in Chile, where the crowd sings along with every note, and this is the real deal.
These kind of viewing session will always of course end up with me coming across something that I was at and looking for myself in the crowd.

It was a beautiful sunny day this afternoon, enjoyed going out there. Much better than the pouring rainy day that befell me a couple of days ago.
The words is we should find out about our pracs next week. That would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. Annoying though, we should have known a long time before this.
