Here's a new vlog. Just like the last one, I got a bit wet. This was worse than the last time, I was covered in mud by the end of things.
I have got my prac now, which is a big thing I was waiting for. It should be quite interesting, it's at a bilingual school and I will be teaching mainly Year 6 - seems like it's more of a high school style, in that my mentor teacher teaches a few different subjects to 3 different classes, and then he also has a class with a year 4 class. Sounds like a big mix, but that should be a good experience of a diferent style. So that will start in May.
Ahead of that, we've got two trips down to the coast. Next week is Easter so we will go down and visit Mum and Dad. One of the guys from work will be down in the area around that time, so we might be able to catch up with him too, that would be cool. The following week I have the weekend off, so I said we should go away somewhere. I was thinking further afield like Melbourne or Brisbane, but we've got a cabin booked down at Racecourse Beach, which should be quite fun, that's good for family activities. It was quite a good deal (under $100 a night), so that was quite good.
This week is a week off uni, so it's nice to have a relax. I have today and tomorrow off work as well, so that should be a good next couple of days. Those next coming weekends away should be good too before getting into the action of the prac. Once that's done, which will be the end of May, that will be that for my degree, then it gets onto the next step of trying to find a job.
