So I was plugging away at an assignment that I believed was due on the weekend and went to check something else related from the subject and realised it is due in 3 weeks. So that's a bit of a reprieve. Not long left to go in the uni and still no word on the prac. We just got sent out an email saying don't go and organise your own prac, which they also tell you at the start. However, when you're taking two months to get it done, it's not really acceptable at all.
I had quite a bit of rest today, it's been a long week at work, I have either had the shifts by myself, or with someone who is quite new. Really glad to have days off. I woke up very sore this morning and in the afternoon I slept for about 2 hours.
I got my latest vlog done as well. Here is a link.
http://sportslashlife.com/capital-eyes-vlog-11-mt-painter-rain/ That's the one I mentioned probably in my last post here. I went out for a walk and got caught in a storm. Oops.
People seem very excited about the Splendour in the Grass lineup. I don't see anyting so splendid about it and I imagine it's also very expensive. I will skip that one.
Spent the morning with Nico, they had a playgroup thing at Old Parliament House. That was kind of cool, but very crowded. We stopped briefly in Questacon to see the robot in there, Nico liked that. On the weekend we got him a pedal bike - he has mastered the balance bike so now it's time for the next step. I took him over to Weston Park and before riding they have a little water playground, so he splashed there, then we did a little bit of riding around. It will still take some time for him to get used to it, but he's picking it up well so far.
I don't really have any exciting images to post in this one, so here's a picture of me from some years ago. 2010 I believe, in Melbourne.
