Non-Holiday Haul

I hate to admit it, but I've been buying stuff online. It's a guilty pleasure indeed. I never thought that I would be lavishing what I've earned. I wanna punch my face for that.

Actually, I'm still controlling my wants somehow. I still check every nook and cranny of the item before I lay my money on the table. I see to it that it gets good reviews online, even though sometimes they're a bit exaggerated. I also check on good deals too. It's a plus if it's also sold in stores.

Gosh, the American lifestyle has gone into my system. I tend to resist, but since I am here, I also have to adapt to their culture. It means that you need to have a branded thing; it could either be clothes, bags, watches or gadgets. It only means that almost everyone can afford. It also means that despite of the recession the country is facing, it's still considered as one of the richest countries in the world.

Despite of the money I've spent on these items, I still don't regret buying them. I need them. I want them. I couldn't sleep if I couldn't get it right away. At least, it's my money. I didn't ask it from my parents or from whoever.

Holiday season may be over, but it's not an excuse not to buy something.

gadgets, writer's block, senseless post, senseless, crappy post, shopping, holidays, techy, laid back, black friday, thanksgiving, crappy
