Our Sanctuary in Action

Religion has always been a debatable topic. It always ends up questioning the existence of God.

I'm not even sure if you call this prejudice or not, but since I grew up in a Catholic family, I believe that there is really a god. This belief has ripened when I started studying in a Catholic school. I became more familiar with the bible and how you should practice the said denomination.

All of us are sinners. We got only cleansed when we were baptized. As we grow old, we tend to make a lot of moves. The more moves we make, we tend to commit more shortcomings thus more sins.

And I am no exception to that. I couldn't even count my sins anymore. If I enumerate it, it will take days (I suppose) to finish the list. Sins could either be light or grave, or whatever you call them. I'm just clarifying it because sins don't only pertain to breaking the ten commandments.

Let's face it-the Catholic church has its flaws, even other religions. The doctrines are still somehow questionable. The people who are in it do not really practice it by heart, even those who serve the church. That being said, it's not an excuse to get skeptical. If you live by it, there's nothing to worry about.

No matter how religion is perceived, it all boils down to faith. And because of faith, love prevails. With the love being spread around, we see goodness, happiness and all other virtues that we could think of. If you believe that these virtues have nothing to do with religion, you still have a choice whether to believe or not; it's called free will. In other words, shut the hell up and just focus on what you're doing.

god, religion, writer's block, a leap of faith, senseless post, senseless, crappy post, crappy
