Double Dip
I've been eyeing on this case for 4 months. I sort of regretted that I didn't buy it earlier. It only costed around $4 that time, and I got it for $10 instead! The price fluctuates over time, but I didn't care much when I bought it because I want it so bad.
Ordering from Amazon scared the hell out of me at first since they don't allow payments thru PayPal. So far, my orders were delivered on time, so at least I got relieved. There's nothing to worry about, as long as you buy from a trusted seller.
This case comes from China, and is a rip-off of the original htc one double dip case. I invested my money on this rather than on the original one simply because it is cheaper. Why would I spend $30 on a case when in fact, I can get one for more than half the price? The shipping was also free, so it's definitely a good deal. I wouldn't even bother buying it if most of the reviews say, "You get what you pay for." It had garnered positive reviews, so it's worth a shot. Moreover, there are 3 colors to choose from. I bought the grey-black-grey one because it looks elegant. The white one looks substandard, while the grey one (which has the same color scheme with the original) looks unappealing. And lastly, the double dip design is gorgeous! It doesn't look bulky and it is exclusively designed for htc one.
What I didn't like about this case though is its grip quality. It's slippery that you need to be careful in holding your phone. Use your 2 hands as much as possible. I also didn't like the volume rocker being flat. When I unlock or turn my phone off, I tend to also press the rocker unintentionally. What's actually the point of putting more rubber in that area if you want to achieve a fitted design? It makes sense, but not my preference. Lastly, I still had to peel my back protector so the body could fit. I see bubbles along the edges of the screen too, so I had to smoothen it using my nails. It's quite a hassle.
It has been on my phone for a week now, and I must say, I'm quite impressed with it. It's been doing well on my phone, plus, it gives justice to the design of htc one. I might as well buy another one for a cheaper price.
