hereClark did his best to ignore his stinging finger. It hurt, but it wasn't as bad as nearly getting gored that time with Claire, to put things in perspective. Still, if he was supposed to be as powerless as a human, he wished it'd gone all the way; right now it seemed to be in this uncomfortable halfway point and he had no idea if he still

"Are you hurt?" he asked automatically, hovering uncertainly by the other's side. Normally something as simple as that should not have even been noticeable to the hero. "Your invulnerability must be affected as well," he mused. "You'll have to be more careful in that case, I wouldn't like it if... That is, I wouldn't be able to help you as well here if you did get hurt."

He already knew about the issues with his powers but hearing someone else talk about it like it was still a bit weird - the only people who even knew about his powers back home were his parents and Pete. Brainy had a point though - somehow he didn't think the smaller boy would have much luck dragging him around if he was hurt. Clark knew he was almost freakishly big for his age and he doubted Brainy had any super-strength. To be honest, he still wasn't entirely sure what abilities Brainy did have, aside from having an uncanny knowledge about Krypton and himself. Anyway, they weren't here just to poke doors open and realized he could stub parts of himself like a human. Clark looked around, frowning.
"You see anything you could use?" he asked, taking a step deeper inside.

This room had been crowded the other night, thanks to the two men who had been taking apart things for their own purposes. Still, Xelloss remembered the medical supplies, although they had seemed to be mostly light rather than the laboratory tools that he supposed were on the other side of the building. The most obvious items were, of course, the lab coats... but those were certainly medical supplies. Technically speaking.
"Does anything in this room look useful, too?" He was a little curious just to see what the king would want, if anything, here.

Sadly, it just didn't seem likely for tonight, which was especially too bad considering how King Porky seemed rather satisfied with his gatherings. It wasn't usually that neat when there was an attack here, anyhow. Monsters had a funny habit of ganging up at uncomfortable times. It might be easier even if they were attacked to just fight than to try to escape and be hurt in the effort, and that wasn't worth it to see a king get eaten alive by some unlikely animal mutation, hybrid, zombie or chimera. As much fun as that by itself would be ( ... )
