Kenshin probably wasn't even going to be expecting him this early. Perhaps he should wait around a bit? The idea of waiting around in these halls, however, even those inside the patient blocks, didn't sit well with him. It would be just as he was trying to be courteous that something nasty popped out of nowhere and bit him in the

Sanosuke almost hadn't gone down Kenshin's old hall, figuring that he was probably the most likely to miss the note. Still, it wasn't like he didn't have to walk right by it, and who knew? Maybe someone had been paying less attention than the fighter. Either way, it seemed like a good idea to him, so Sano made a sharp left at the corridor.
Turned out to be a good thing he did. There was Robin, standing in front of M55 as if someone was going to let him in. "I'm guessing you didn't read the note, huh?" Walking up to the guy, Sanosuke grinned, not just a little proud of actually knowing what the hell was going on for once. Even if it was in a tiny way, it wasn't like that happened often around here.
"Kenshin got moved into a new room. He left a note for us on the bulletin, but it was pretty close to dinner. You probably just missed it." Sanosuke glanced back down to the entrance, wondering if Yahiko would end up heading that way too.

"Him too, huh?" He sighed, hating the fact that he now had to rely on someone else to get him where he needed to be. So much for being early. "Where'd they move him to?"

Fuck. There wasn't any point in thinking that way. Sanosuke couldn't let it happen, and he wouldn't. Yahiko was there too, and between the three of them, they'd be able to figure out something, even if the reverse blade was gone now.
"Hey, you don't happen to know how the light stick things work, do you? Something about these round things going in it?" Deciding to distract himself from his worries, Sanosuke held out the items in question. Robin was supposed to be from the future, right? So maybe he had some idea.

At Sano's question, Matt held his own flashlight up for demonstration. He flicked it off, then back on again. "Voila," he said dully. Even if the other man was from the past, surely he could have easily learned how to operate one by now. He wasn't new to the place.
"Are you heading the same way?"

Tonight was all about efficiency. He shouldn't keep his teammates waiting.

Just as he always did, Mori came to pick up his cousin. He was still worried about Reid, but unless he abandoned Mitsukuni one night there wasn't anything he could do for him. And leaving Mitsukuni alone was like asking Mori to take off his own arm. Which he probably would, if it would have saved his cousin, but he rather liked keeping both arms where they were.
Shaking his head slightly at the thought, he moved up silently to where Mitsukuni was waiting for him. He wondered just how long his cousin had been waiting and mentally chided himself for not coming faster. At least the ice cream hadn't melted yet. Holding the bowl of green tea ice cream out to Mitsukuni, Mori kneeled down to let the boy onto his shoulders.

"We should hurry," he told Takashi as he pointed the flashlight down the hall. "It would be rude for us to keep Anise-chan waiting."

Reno didn't even bother knocking when he got to Rude's room, just pushed the door open and stepped inside. They'd known each other for too long to worry about personal space.
"So." He flopped down on the bed, tossing his flashlight a bit to the side. It was running out of batteries, but he supposed he could just pilfer Rude's. "Doing a booze run tonight, yeah? Elena coming?"

"Should wait for her."
Not that he felt bad for ditching her or anything last night. Obviously. But they should probably still wait for her, see if she'd show up. Nothing like the wrath of a bitchfit, after all.
He started rummaging through Rude's closet. "Need m'pipe. And batteries."
