Random QVC lulz.
Every now and then, one can get a good laugh from the home shopping channels (and given that we're "blessed" with so many of the ^#*@^&*(%^&! things via our basic cable package, I suppose that's a silver lining). countessaleska and I managed to get some serious lulz this weekend out of a couple lines of makeup being sold, and I just had to share. The names are just, well . . .
First up, Laura Geller Spackle Tint & Glow Makeup Primer & Highlighters. Dude, is it just me or does that sound way more like something you'd use in an auto body shop, or possibly when repainting the bathroom, than something you'd put on your face?
Next up, FIRMA-FACE XR™. Just something about the sound of that one entertained us to no end. We kept saying "FIRMA-FACE" at random times over the weekend and then cracking up over it. I'm not sure if it's really that funny or if we just need lives, but I'll take what amusement I can get, regardless. ;)
In general updates, still no functioning home computer for me, though Aleska is kind about letting me check email and such on hers. So, expect me to continue being spotty about posting and replying to comments. I'm reading as much as I can, but it's still a job keeping up. Later!
