Some follow up on the integrity post

Sep 18, 2007 05:27

*Waves at everyone*  Wow.  Just wow.  Never did I expect that kind of response to my post!  I'm glad that so many have found it interesting reading and have used it as a starting point for further discussions.

In order to reduce the redundancy of posts on the previous discussion here are the answers to some FAQs:

1.  Anyone can friend me who wishes.  I do appreciate a heads up that you'll be adding me to your friends list with a brief intro, but it isn't necessary.  The vast majority of my posts are friend locked already and are far less interesting to such a broad audience (the status of my son's potty training, e.g.), so I will not be making everyone a mutual friend and will be much more judicious about what I leave public.  Please don't be offended or take it personally - I don't need or want for the Known World to know me quite THAT well!

2. Feel free to share the link to the previous post and any subsequent public posts (there are more in the works) with anyone who may find it of interest.  The more the merrier!

With regard to the topic at hand:

No, integrity is not the only facet of being a Peer.  The book that I referenced in the post goes on to discuss further aspects of becoming a person of influence and I will be following up with more posts discussing those aspects.  Additionally there are facets of being a Peer that I would not expect to be covered in a book geared toward a mundane audience.  It is my hope that those are being explored as part of the ripple-effect discussions that are taking place and intend to have future posts discussing those as well.
