There were a million things happening that week. Sebastian wasn't in the mood to deal with any of them. He also might have put himself on a new version of exile. Self-imposed exile. That wasn't actually very new for him, but with the big secret out to essentially everyone he knew, Sebastian had reverted to old ways. Habits and all that.
It's not as though Sebastian didn't have things to deal with at home without trying to make an appearance at a festival that would probably annoy him more than anything else, anyway.
After his late night powwow with his sister, Sebastian's sleep schedule had officially twisted itself around. He was trying to work through it, taking over the study - large double-doors propped open as if that would help him monitor anything happening outside of the room - and maps covering the over-sized desk situated in front of the large windows. He'd been marking where he had been, noting anything suspect.
There had been a few areas where he'd suspected charms to be set up. He hadn't had time, needing to get home before the moon rose, to inspect the areas properly for cloaking charms. He'd have to start there, see if he notice anything. He was working out his next course, chess pieces commandeered from the marble chess set that Simon Daley always kept in a glass cabinet taking up an entire corner of a room used to mark out different areas of interest.
Between settling a pawn to mark one cleared area and a knight to mark a suspicious one, the exhaustion set in. Sebastian didn't mean to fall asleep against the desk in the late afternoon, but that was the least shocking thing to happen all week.
