Life goes on....
So, Saturday was the funeral and burial for my mom. All the family,many distant family and friends showed up. Which was nice. Now my siblings have descended and are cleaning out the house. Which has to happen, as none of us need this big of a house, or can afford it.
I went to my podiatrist today to see about the charcot foot, and the new one wants me to stay in the boot for the foreseeable future, and signed off on the renewal of my handicapped parking placard, except this time checked permanent. Which was not a happy sign that I'm gonna be healed up soon, or possibly ever. Grumps.
I need to find a new place to live soon, so I submitted a post to a fannish social media group I'm in. To be rebuffed by the admin of the list because she said she had heard complaints about me sexually harassing person or persons. Which was rather a shocking surprise to me. I looked back at my past, and yeah, I flirt at people, and apparently I am too old and too white to be allowed to show sexual interests. Because if anyone reacted negatively, I backed off and went on to someone more friendly. If I offended someone, please just tell me and I'll stop interacting with you. Sorry to offend you, but if you don't say no, you haven't said no.
