Life is methodical and my jaw still hurts
All in all, not much exciting going on in my corner of the universe. Maybe that's why I'm so invested in the Phillies right now? *thinks* No. Sports obsession happens all the time with my teams.
Anywho, hectic morning at the office as the Doc was a half hour late and we were double booked all morning. What joy. And Doc's stepdaughter is still MIA (going on 2 weeks now, no one seems to know what's going on with that), so I've been in charge of the labs again. It doesn't really bother me, but still, one more thing to do. Tomorrow will be a very, very short day as it's Wednesday so we have no patients. I'm going in from 9am-11am to call in some patients for flu shots (what fun!) and to shred some paper.
Then, it'll be the best part of the day - depositing last week's paycheck (all going into savings!) and going to Starbucks. I'm hoping to make good headway on the personal statement and also I need to work on my ficathon fic as I have yet to start it and the deadline is fast approaching. I do like my prompt and know exactly what I'm going to do, I just need to do it.
The jaw is still achy. Only on the right side. That tooth was in at an angle, so I wonder if that had something to do with it. Nothing some constant Aleve and occasional salt water rinses (blech) can't handle, but it's pretty annoying. I have an ice pack here if I have trouble falling asleep. The pain did wake me up in the middle of the night last night.
So, tomorrow - 2 hours boring work, several hours Starbucks writing work, Glee at 9pm.
Thursday - long day of regular work, Phillies @ Dodgers 8:07pm, nervous breakdown sometime thereafter
