No word on my car

The mechanic's had my car since Monday, and still no word. Good thing I can be patient. I have to be - the guy I took the car to is a friend of my dad's, who does good work, very cheap - but not very fast. There's that old business saying: Cheap, Fast, Good - you can only pick two! Definitely applies here. You can get cheap and good, but fast is NOT in the equation.

I'm probably not going very many places this weekend. I checked out some DVDs from the library to keep me busy. If you haven't been to the library lately, you should swing by - they have a surprisingly well stocked selection of movies and TV seasons. I go the first season of Lost and the fifth season of Sex and the City (I like it, shaddup!) It's not all old movies either - they had V for Vendetta, which is relatively new. I'm going to have to go to Blockbuster for the Bourne Ultimatum though.

I've got some swatches up on my wall, as I'm considering painting and decorating my place. I need to reorganize my tool chest, get some wood and start making some of the project pieces I've been wanting to get made. Furniture doesn't build itself.
