What I didn't want to say before. My wife spent the entire week at my mother's house, prepping it for an estate sale. I'm not comfortable announcing on the internet that my house is empty while I'm at work.
Friday -- After work, I went to the Polish Falcons for a fish-fry. I'm seriously considering giving the Fredonia Legion Post a higher rating, just so I can give the Falcons a lower one. Absolutely the worst fish-fry I've ever had in Fredonia. Worse than the Legion Post. I ordered the fisherman's platter, one beer battered fish, 3 scallops, 3 shrimp. The scallops and shrimp were burnt. The fish was floating in grease. The sides were coleslaw and macaroni salad and came perfectly spherical which means they were served with a small ice-cream scoop. The tartar sauce and cocktail sauce came in plastic shotglasses so small the scallops could not fit in them, much less the shrimp. They had two waitresses, they could have used four. Poor service. Never again! Review for my webpage coming shortly.
Saturday -- Ran the normal errands solo. Drove out to Buffalo to see my wife. She continued to sort clothes in my mother's house. I started making trips back and forth emptying out the storage area into the basement. I've never seen so much Christmas stuff. Dinner at Tulley's in Buffalo. It's a sports bar. I don't review chains. I had the Western burger with jalepeno peppers in it. They made me sweat and cry. My wife does not experience this. Peppers cannot make her sweat or cry.
Sunday -- Same stuff, different day. I finally got the last load out of storage and into the basement. That's one less monthly bill to pay. My mother's closets are beyond belief. Not only does she have clothes dating back to the 70's, but she has her mother's wardrobe and her mother's baby sister's wardrobe who was about the same size. Some of this stuff still has price tags on it! Dinner at Ying's.
Monday -- Memorial Day. We wanted to take my mother out to the park, so naturally it rained and soaked everything. So, we stayed and talked. My mother has her own room now, the roommate who kept peeing in bed has been moved out. Loaded up the car with stuff to take home. I have more of father's tools.
Tuesday -- Slow work day. I needed it. My muscles were sore from all the moving I did. Still had to unpack the car. Now, I need to re-organize my basement workshop. My tool collection is about to more than double.
