Something about chapters
Happy new year! Do you know where I was when the ball dropped? Outside my new apartment unloading stuff from the backseat. There's still some stuff in the trunk, but I don't want to bring it in yet and create more clutter. I've got to shift stuff around in the living room because the Verizon guy is coming to install FiOS(!). At least the den is sorta cleaned up and the computer all set up.
So rather than spend my last day in town with friends at a New Year's party, I was hurrying out of my apartment so I could leave my keys at the realtor's drop box. As we set off from Orlando, I attempted to turn on my Zune...but it got stuck at the boot screen. And the secret reboot key combination didn't work. My dad figured out what happened during his online news-reading today. Apparently Microsoft forgot to account for leap years (366 days) on the clock. This only affected owners of the original 30gb model, of which I am one. D'oh! [ They're calling this Z2k. ]
