Marie Antoinette
Yet again, I don't know what the hell Sofia Coppola is trying to tell me with her movie. Opinions on this movie are polarized, and I took a chance on it because the critics I normally agree with were on the "recommended" side of the arguement. At the end of the movie, the general, very vocal consensus of the theater was, "what?!" I knew going in that I wasn't going to see a straightforward movie, but it seems to me that you can't make a movie about people-watching. But this isn't the first time she's done this.
Umm. This is a facial acting movie, and Kirsten Dunst does a damned fine job expressing her character's feelings without saying a word.
