i need feedback, especially from the musicians
what would you do if you bought a CD from the artist and you received a burned, scratched copy in the mail?
background: we know this artist. i emailed his "producer", who i also know. i paid $14 for it (well, $29 for 2 cds, and the other costs $15. he never broke down what the CD vs shipping charge was). when arranging the transaction, he told me he has $15AlbumName and a copy of $14AlbumThatCameScratched. it never occured to me that he meant a burned copy. there's an original CD booklet, but the copy is burned and scratched. it skipped. there was a note in the CD booklet that it's a burned copy, and if you have trouble to contact the artist, but i'm a little put off that they even sold this to me as a full price CD. and i'm not sure how to write/what to say that doesn't sound too bitchy.
