12 weeks
today nathaniel is 12 weeks old. thursday was my first day back at work (it should have been this week, but i made a strategic move to go back one work day early so i could:
1) ease in slowly to being back at work by going back 1 day before a holiday weekend
2) actually get paid for july 4th. i don't get paid for holidays while i am out on medical leave (because maternity is a sickness, don't ya know?)
i was getting all weepy before i went back and worrying that i would miss all of nathaniel's milestones. but he rolled over the day before i went back. and, being back at work wasn't that bad. everyone was happy to see me, and no one threw up on me, which is sometimes more than i can say for the days i stay at home with him. pumping at work every few hours is less than fun, but at least i'm only there 3 days a week for now.
of course i have a back log of pictures.
