Living here in the northern tier of states, and in the lee of the Great Lakes snowmaking machine to boot, I've grown pretty tired of winter over the past few decades. I don't look forward to facing those Panhandle Hooks, Alberta Clippers, Midwest Expresses and shrieking Nor'easters yet again. I don't like snow anymore. We were on the northern edge of the big Blizzard of 2/10 as it tracked across the Ohio Valley and up the East Coast. All of the really heavy snow was to our south and east, with Philly, Baltimore and DC getting about 2 feet of snow, and the mountains of western Virginia and Maryland getting almost 3 feet.
