People tend to disreguard art as something that is unnecessary in today's society, or at least argue that it's not important. That art in a museum is superfluous. I would put Chris Jordon's work forth as a plus in art's favor.

My god, when I get on the airplane to CA in a few days, I'm going to feel guilty ordering a drink...

Underwater photography combines the challenges of (1) trying to make an aesthetic statement that hasn't been made by thousands of photographers who've dedicated decades of their life to the craft, with (2) trying to stay alive.

Today I took this picture that I just absolutely love. It's a digital picture taken inside of Mass MoCA, and it features nyrnym359 and yukarichan as the two figures. I'm in this severly weird mood. Sitting on my room, watching what little light dying from my window, I just felt this deep sense of finality engulf me. Just it seems time is rushing towards this time of endings and uncertainty -- two things I have never been that good with.
