I'm not disliking season 4, but it definitely has that disjointed feel that 3A did. And while I'm not opposed to the carnival, I don't really feel like it's earned its place. It's just dropped what feels almost like an entirely new mythos full of mysticism into what's always been rooted in scientific abnormalities and telling us to care about it.
Six episodes in and I don't feel like I know anything more about the carnival than I did in the first episode. Which, come to think, is a 5A Teen Wolf problem, too. I hope this doesn't end up as prep for an "Everything Teen Wolf does bad, Heroes did first" post.
Also: There was a moment there when I though I could maybe ship Noah/Tracy a little bit. I hope the justification for that comes back.
