Weekend plans
It's my weekend, and I have a plan!
Today is going to be the day I clean my kitchen and my living room. It's also the day I catch up with Gotham and Arrow. And I'm going to watch Near Dark, the 1980s Adrian Pasdar vampire movie.
Wednesday, I am actually going to cook food. I don't know what yet, but it's going to be done on the stove, in the oven or in the crockpot. No takeout, no microwaving. I'm also going to clean my bathrooms and maybe do a little work on my office/fitness room, since the bathrooms are tiny and only one has a bathtub.
Then I'm going to catch up on Agents of SHIELD and rewatch Sunday's Once Upon a Time that I half-listened to at work.
I'm very deliberate with my TV viewing. Because Flash is typically fun on Tuesdays, it's a good time to watch the less fun shows. And then because Arrow is typically so grim on Wednesdays, it's good to temper it with lightness that is typically OUaT and AoS.
And someday I'll get back to TNG and Criminal Minds on Netflix. Speaking of TNG:
I have a Sims house for it. Riker almost ruined an away mission. Twice. But only the first time is Tumblr-ed about though. That's one of my other tasks for today.
Also: This might be the year I quit Castle. I watched the first half of the two-parter premiere and couldn't be bothered to watch the second. Or the third episode. And I don't like some of the things I've heard. So, I'm not making an effort to watch it at all, but I reserve the right to binge it when everything else is on winter hiatus or if I catch wind of a story line I might like.
