Ready, set, go!
I awoke this morning to seeing my stepping stones and grass in the front yard! I can now get to my car without wading through nasty swamp water. The backyard remains underwater a bit but not as bad as Friday. I'm so glad that the anticipated rain we were suppose to receive Friday night passed us over and hit the Gulf Coast instead. Had it not, I would have been a bug on a log floating in flooding waters. The weather is nice too today. A bit cooler than it has been with a mild wind blowing. I'm off to the market to get some groceries and enjoy being out of solitary confinement.
