Tired ..
Long day today at work. I've come to the conclusion that the general population in this area are ignorant and beyond help. I do believe in a higher power but I wonder sometimes how I ever got stuck in this god-forsaken swamp. I'm hoping enlightenment will be given to me soon before I end up sounding too cajun. *smiles*
The yard is cleaned up but icky mud on the ground. YUCK! And smell, good grief. I think to myself how in the world do flood victims survive the stench once the waters recede. Now, I'm hoping for a small rainfall to rinse the ground a bit. I am so glad I did not buy the plants I intended to buy because all of my gerber daises are covered with mud. They look sad. I sprayed them this afternoon with a little water and hopefully they will sprout with happy faces again.
My bed and book is calling me for some relaxation before sleep.
