There is something a little depressing about being told, by a woman i like, that I am "too short" to be considered as a potential suitor.

Thing is, we have known each other for a couple years...and we both know, and have both been told repeatedly that we would work really well together and make a good couple...and yet she won't put me in the "possible" column because I am a couple inches too short from what she wants.

Everyone we work with, and I mean everyone, wonders why she and I have not started dating. And they don't say this to me, they say this to both of us. She has repeatedly expressed an interest in finding a guy like me. But last night, when we were hanging out at my place with another friend...I was informed that I am too short.

She's about 5'7"...I'm about 5'9".

I can understand why women want a guy who is tall.
