• It was easier to figure out where to market written work back when I actually had contact with people in the local publishing concerns. Granted I was writing for smallish circulation magazines under various pseudonyms and sometimes with no byline at all but atleast I was getting words in print out there in the world. It's something I've needed to do a for awhile now.  Mindspring was my first real ISP and I used them for the longest time. I'd probably still be using them if they'd been able to give me DSL when I moved out here in 2004. But they gave me some nonsensical excuses and I ended up getting through BellSouth a year later. Apparently my DVR has decided it doesn't like Lost. For the second time in two weeks I've missed the first ten minutes of Lost because the DVR apparently crashed before it was supposed to record Lost. It's recorded everything else just fine ( Read more... )
