The Elements of Conversation
On the way to school today, Jackson was telling me about the chemistry he's learning in science.

JACKSON: "If I was broken down into pure elements, I'd be worth about $14.70 on the scientific black market."
ME: "Heck, I can get more than that for just one of your kidneys."

JACKSON: "Wait--I can't be broken down into pure elements because I AM the elements: fire! electricity! wind! earth!"
ME: "I suppose we all have a little Earth, Wind, and Fire in us."
JACKSON: (silence...70s music reference totally lost on him)
