[Daniel doesn't know the town the rest of the residents might, but he's gathered enough from the creepy phone calls and television broadcasts, and from everyone else's reactions, to be properly terrified.
That doesn't mean he isn't stupid enough to investigate that classy little regain he was given like the rest of the town.
And now he's flipping shit. You see, Daniel has received his real body -- the one spliced with cuttlefish DNA. The one that changes color at random and makes him spit ink whenever he's uncomfortable and likes to switch his lungs with his gills just for fun. Today is not a good day for Daniel. He doesn't even have his meds, so he is in full-on freakout mode.]
