Mason just "discovered" the stocking stuff.

He said the drawer was simply left open - but this was just an hour after I put stuff away and I made sure things were closed.

Wow, this weekend blew, both in suckiness and just went by so fast.

As I mentioned previously, my son had some Dallas Cowboy events to attend Fri and Sat night. Since he, for lack of a better term, sucks at driving (directions, getting lost, etc) we decided to take him to these places Fri and Sat, meaning about an hour each way is lost to driving ( Read more... )

About a year ago we self diagnosed Mason to have celiac disease. Those unfamiliar with this, basically it's the inability to digest anything with gluten in it - which is a lot of stuff.  Breads, pasta, most cereals, rice crispie treats, pizza, kid cuisine dinners, lunches at the school, etc.  And purchasing gluten free equivilant is about 2-3 times ( Read more... )

Today will be the start of a very hectic nine days. After work is Jake's football scrimmage against Northwest (which I know one of the kids playing there from church). I've got one of each now. Took Mason to get his haircut and decided to give in and give him a mohawk. It's summer, no school and heck, it's only hair - it grows back.  So now we're those parents that let's their kids do whatever they want.  Oh well. (FYI, Sarah's the little diva and Jake of course is the jock)
