We're home safe from our trip to NB for wererogue and longpig's wedding :) Longer post and pictures will be forthcoming when I find the time, but I'll quickly sum up Arthur's performance as ringbearer in the ceremony: At the rehearsal, he threw a HUGE tantrum, much worse than any I've seen for a long time. He was a little better at the service itself - he ran around maniacally before things began, then walked partway down the aisle with me before letting go of my hand and running the rest of the way, stopping on the steps to turn around and yell "HI EVERYONE!" to the assembled guests. He then got hold of a microphone that was lying hidden over on the groom's side of the platform, and either it was already on or he turned it on long enough to yell "HI!" into it before we got him wrangled into submission. Steve took him to my mom, who kept him entertained in the church's small nursery for the duration of the ceremony, and he managed to make it into some of the group pictures outside afterwards, but he was so tired by that point that I just got Mom to take him home rather than bringing him along to the reception for more pictures. I hope someone got some good shots of him in his little tux, he was really rather adorable, if I do say so myself :) And I got to be regaled by stories about what other people's kids had done when they were in wedding parties, which included throwing flowers at the priest's head, so I didn't feel so bad ;)
