I went ahead and did it! I chopped off my hair yesterday! Someone had suggested here to go to David at VSL Hair Salon in Dupont Circle, Washington DC. A great suggestion! He made my whole experience so much more pleasant! This was the second time going to him but this was a more drastic cut!

I chopped of 14 inches (longest layer) !!

Okay, so my hair previous to today was past my shoulders, and half-curly because it was weighed down and thus looked very random.

So I posted a couple weeks ago about ideas to do to my hair. So I bought the Wet-2-Straightener, and it didn't work. It made my hair poofy and still wavy. Then I tried to cut my own bangs ah! But luckily they aren't too short, I can put them behind my ears when I do straighten them ( Read more... )

So I finally got my hair cut in an a-line of sorts, but the hairdresser was so opposed to the idea that she barely took anything off in the back, so now I sort of have triangle head. I'm thinking of going back and asking her to take a bit more off in the back.
