a big chop
I went ahead and did it! I chopped off my hair yesterday! Someone had suggested here to go to David at VSL Hair Salon in Dupont Circle, Washington DC. A great suggestion! He made my whole experience so much more pleasant! This was the second time going to him but this was a more drastic cut!
I chopped of 14 inches (longest layer) !!
I will be donating it to one of the charities making wigs! But here are some before and after photos!

He blow dried it with a curl/wave at the end. I wish I had the patience to do it again once in a while. But alas no. Here's the pic today after the wash. It usually takes a few washes before my curls set in after a cut. But oh the frizz! yeeks...
