Here in Australia, we're heading into winter and I decided to make some autumn-inspired pear cupcakes with maple syrup and walnuts topped with vanilla bean buttercream frosting. They were absolutely delicious!

i really had made these cupcakes for halloween, but since i only just got a new laptop that will let me upload my piccies without shutting down....  we can call them fall cupcakes instead.

just chocolate cake box mix + white frosting with orange gel color and chocolate frosting with black gel color.

Even though it's still warm out, fall is almost here and my friend and I decided to encourage it along by making pumpkin spice cupcakes!
