Last night I dreamt that we rented a lion. So we were stuck with this big freaking lion in our living room. The lion was knocking stuff over and generally being a pest, and we were all too terrified of it to try to stop him. Tax refund arrived today. Do I spend it on body work on the car? Or put it into a savings account to sit and build interest for an eventual house down payment or other emergencies? (Emergencies like the car needing body work?) Hrm.

I had this plan. Since I was taking yesterday off, and the car needed to go in for maintenance, I would combine the two to minimize inconvenience. At some point in the past week, someone hit our car. It didn't happen when we were in the car, so it was likely when it was parked on the street. Judging by the location of the dent, I suspect it was an SUV, van or similarly tall vehicle.
