2 lb. lamb, cubed, fat removed

2 onions, chopped
4 ribs celery, chopped
4 carrots, peeled and chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 russet potatoes, peeled and chopped (reserved in water)
1 bottle red wine (I used Zin)
1 qt. beef stock
2 tbsp. cornstarch
