Well, I went to my family PA, & she had the results of my blood tests. Bad news abounds, because it's not rheumatoid arthritis in my shoulders, it's osteoarthritis. We discussed my upcoming physical therapy and pain levels, and she gave me a prescription for a whopping big bottle of 60 Vicodins! She also told me that instead of just taking them ( Read more... )

Brrrrr!! It's damn cold here: wind chills of -10! Not to mention the snow that was dumped on Tues. night & Wednesday. I think we got about 16-18 inches, but it's hard to measure because the wind blows it all around. I decided to do very little this weekend in terms of working around the house. I just wanted to stay home, rest, & just generally goof-off. I did what needed to be done in terms of laundry, dishes, & cooking, and left the rest. I certainly feel much better for having done nothing.

I am finally starting to feel better. After a weekend of endless hacking my lungs are less congested. The PA says that I sound better, but that I need to keep using the nebulizer for a few days.
