I've been hard of hearing ("half" deaf) for over a decade now and I am finally getting a hearing aid. The fitting was in December, so my hearing aid should be ready for pick-up at the end of this month. Some people would be bothered by the idea of this, but I am SO excited. It's hard when a person misses half the conversation, or has to keep asking "WHAT?" Besides, I AM a "Nana" now, so I will wear it (along with my greying hair) with great pride!
