"Temptations are an opportunity for Grace." This sentence jumped out at me during Fr. Pat's sermon today. Over the past several years I have grown to love and appreciate the Lenten Season. It is such a reflective time for me; lately I feel very close to God... as a "friend!" That was always a difficult concept for me to understand, but today, this concept has progressed into something completely plausible. It's wonderful to grow older, to mature spiritually, and to become more at peace with life. My children are evolving into dear friends and I find myself learning from my own past thru their present experiences. Does that sound crazy? This leads me to believe that every experience in life is an opportunity for Grace.
