Spain won the Euros, which means I won the fantastic prize of Prosecco and a Chocolate Medal!  It's funny, when I drew the teams at the beginning of the tournament I thought I had no chance of winning cos Spain were my only decent team.  Just goes to show that you only need one!

Happy Election Day, people!  I voted bright and early this morning when I took Tormund on his walk.  All the latest polling data has the Lib Dems neck and neck with the Conservatives in my constituency so every vote really does count.  I'm a bit disappointed in the Labour candidate insisting he has a real chance of winning here when he really doesn ( Read more... )

I went down to Sussex to look at some more houses a couple of weeks ago.  There was one that I really liked but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much cos everything on this end is going so slowly we'll probably miss out on it.  The builder keeps dragging his feet and it makes me want to tear my hair out cos I just want to move ( Read more... )

The Grand Prix season is over and the results of our family pool on Superbru are in. I won last year and I've spent most of this season at the top of the leaderboard, but Rob has been closing in on me these last few races. Congratulations Tormund on winning the Rugby World Cup Family Sweepstakes! Now I have to find a suitable replacement prize since he obviously can't have the chocolate, which I suppose Mum and I will just have to eat ourselves. What a hardship!

Apparently the weather was listening when I mentioned how unseasonably warm it's been recently cos the past couple of days have got down to freezing. I'd really like a nice middle ground, weather!
