Bringing in the New Year!

Last year David, Dahlia and I hiked up Fall Mountain. This time we went to the Greendale campground in the Green Mountain National Forest to go hiking. Well, strike that. We TRIED to get there but the last mile leading up to the campground was all ice and snow. So we parked off the road and walked the mile to the campground, puttered around the area, and then turned around and came back. Not 100% satisfying, but still fun! And picture worthy.

Dahlia...do you want to go hiking?

The road up. Prior to this it was just dirt and mud. You can see why we decided to not drive any further!

Again I point out how ridiculous Dahlia looks without the big pantaloons in back. I am NEVER EVER going to trim them so drastically!

What ya waitin' for guys?

THIS!

Such a freaking poser.

Dahlia had great fun exploring.

She's so photogenic!

Look! Sun!

And then Dahlia got the zoomies and ran around a lot. She was in and out of the woods and we had to keep calling her back to us because we could no longer see her. I didn't get a lot of good pictures of her because the light was starting to fade and she was moving too fast. This was near the end of her running around.
