I'm so psyched for new episodes of Supernatural. The last two were this season were excellent, and this one promises to be hilarious. At least, the
Supernatural web site makes it look hilarious. After the promo for tonight's episode, where Sam and Dean will apparently appear in a reality show about a haunted house,
Ghost Hunters-style (run by the same loser-y dudes who were ghost-hunting in Season One's "Hell House,") the usual picture of the cast that makes up the banner is scribbled on with permanent marker -- Sam has horns and a goatee, for example -- and there's an added banner that says, "Ghostfaces Was Here". I like it when the boys are dark and tragic, but I love it more when they are funny. Add to that this week's hysterical
How I Met Your Mother episode (the return of Robyn Sparkles? awesome! plus now with more Barney!) and a continuing strong season for Battlestar and I'm glued to my television. (Well, and my computer, for Kyo Kara Maoh. Yes, I am downloading right now. Please, large American anime companies, license the rest of Kyo Kara Maoh so you can have my money!)
Lest ye think I am only watching TV, I will report that I have written every day this week, finally finishing up "Bloodletting" for either submissions or another round on the OWW, and planning out my novel project for this new writing community,
summerwrite. It's kind of like
National Novel Writing Month, but instead of 50,000 words in one month, it's 150,000 words in four. And I am going to rewrite the novel I started for NaNoWriMo anyway, because now I am actually planning and world-building and plotting, and it is shaping up so much better. Maybe I needed to write those crappy 50,000 words to get to the real story. Oh, and I sent off "Singing the Round" to its first market, which will undoubtedly get rejected because someone told me to aim at the lofty markets first, then work your way down.
