Hi, Calenharn!

Thank you for the praise. It took me month to write this chapter, and when it was finished, I was convinced that it did not work. I am glad it does!

and isn't Legolas confused, now? And how will Aragorn react, especially if he senses Legolas' gratitude/response to Boromir's tenderness?

You can say that again. I fear, Aragorn's plan to have Boromir feed the spell so *he* could concentrate more on tenderness has a few flaws he didn't really counted on...

It is gratifying to see Legolas accepted by the other warriors of the Company, but I think these two (Boromir, Gimli) are going to be in for quite a bit of culture shock once they hit the Golden Wood.

And how! Gimli might maybe somehow still manage to find a way to excuse Galadriel of any bad occurrences, one way or another; People do strange things when they are besotted. But I do not think he or Boromir will particularly like the Golden Wood.

The question is, will it break over Aragorn's treatment of Legolas *before* they reach the Golden Wood, or will it break ( ... )

An update! Hooray! Ah, and I am so glad to see some understanding and respect from Gimli at last. Interesting that it is he who makes the first move toward understanding here . . . and appropriate, I think. Legolas has far too many people demanding far too much of him for him to have the luxury in mind or spirit of being generous to others ( ... )

Gimli's apology was overdue, although he could hardly have made it earlier, either. He has to come quite some way, still, but at least he started on it. And it was him who had to make the first move - after what he threatened to do to Legolas' loved ones, Legolas would not have sought any attempt to bridge the gap, himself. But it is true, our Dwarf has come a long way... as has Boromir. :)

The scene with Boromir was just beautiful. Hot, yes, but tender and loving and gentle. I had some wicked shivers thinking that Aragorn was witness to it -- he may not have seen anything, but he surely could hear and knew what was happening. My goodness, is he a masochist or what?Thank you! I am glad you liked ( ... )

A most welcome return, after quite a hiatus! And with a lovely, gentle love-scene and some respect from the Dwarf. Legolas deserves some good things, especially in the depth of Moria. I fear he will have to pay later, though. Excellent chapter!

Thank you! I am glad you liked it! As for the Dwarf... it was time, wasn't it? After all, this is still the same Dwarf we know from canon... and he has a sense of honor at the core. Although he may yet have to go a few more steps until he and the Elf can become more than just fellow warriors. harrump.

Excellent chapter!

Thank you! I am glad it worked for you.

AN UPDATE!!! *spots the obvious* Did I ever mention how much I love you? Wonderful wonderful wonderful chapter. *melts to goo* I love the interaction and how you managed to work the twist into every part of their lives. XD *hugs*

Thank you for giving Legolas some happiness! *not that I object to seeing him suffer, mind you. Legolas suffers so beautifully...* Though I did have a sudden image of Legolas and Aragon together and Legolas saying Boromir's name. Bad bad foreboding feeling....

Hi! Welcome to the lj! Thank you for the review and the praise. I am glad you like my story. And I am glad you liked the latst chaptrer. Yes, it was about time that Legolas got some tenderness again, although at the moment it just adds to his confusion.

Though I did have a sudden image of Legolas and Aragon together and Legolas saying Boromir's name.

Oh, dear! That would be very bad, indeed! I hope that this will not happen...
but who knows? Would not be a good thing, though. I don't think!

Thank you for the great comment again! -- Aislynn

Ohhhh yeah. Very very very bad indeed with whipped cream of dread even. Not a good thing at all....
*not sure whether to cackle or wince in sympathy*

Again it took me a while to react to this wonderful chapter here but I didn't forget it and now I'm back to comment! =)

This chapter here was very well written, atmospheric and again creating very vivid images of the characters in my mind. I've waiting for another glimpse of Gimli for a quite long time and you managed it amazingly good to show his noble spirit I so loved in the books.

Thank you for sharing this with us and I will certainly stay tuned for the next chapters! =)

Greetings Eva

It took me a while to get to Gimli, because there were so many other issues to deal with. But it would be a mistake to think that his hostility of the first few days was all there is to him, in this story or any else. Our Dwarf is far more keen-eyed and sharp-minded (and far more noble) than many are ready to give him credit for...

Glad you still enjoy this! I will see that I can write more and update as soon as I can (unfortunately, it may still take a while, though).
