the cosmic joy of the reign of God

It is 3:46 PM Tuesday afternoon. The sun is shining and it is warm but not too warm outside presently. It has been predicted to get hot towards the end of this week, back in the 80's. It got in the 50's during the night and this morning I had to put on wool socks because the house was cold. Carol had gotten up at 4:15 AM and opened the house. When I came upstairs this morning Carol was gone, she left early to go grocery shopping.

Carol got home from grocery shopping around 8:35 AM and we had devotions. Carol then left around 9:45 AM to meet up with some cousin's for breakfast. I spent the morning while Carol was gone writing in my diary and reading from a book titled, 'Christ: the Way, the Truth, and the Life' by Rev. John Brown of Wamphray, Scotland. When Carol got home we ate lunch and then I decided to finish mowing the lawn. I had mowed the front lawn last night, but did not finish the back because the lawn mower battery had to be recharged. So I worked on the back yard mowing, chopping, and watering till 3:30 PM. Now I am recovering, writing in my online diaries. I am suppose to get a book delivered titled 'Poet's Apprentice: Book Four 1982-1983' by Randy Roark by Amazon this evening.

Last night I mainly read before going to bed, 'The Collected Stories of Mavis Gallant'. I also read yesterday, 'The Psalms A Christ-Centered Commentary' Volume 1 Introduction: Christ and the Psalms by Christopher Ash and 'Poet's Apprentice: Book Five 1984-1991' memoir by Randy Roark.

I suppose I will close to drift. Tomorrow is a Wednesday.
