What is Cold?
It strikes me as a bit funny that Minnesotans are never aware that it will get cold at some point towards the end of the year. Minnesota is rather known for its winters, and the folks tend to even brag about their residence in the "cold North." But when someone mentions precipitation of any kind these Northerns act like a housewife who just saw a mouse run through the kitchen.
I just think it's funny. Oh...but then I don't when everyone drives ten miles below the speed limit in the morning because a weather man somewhere mentioned the possibility of a snowflake touching down in Duluth. Scary, I know.
