Summary: Jin and Kazuya were childhood friends but they drifted apart when Jin entered JE. Kazuya becomes a successful detective and one day he gets the order to investigate a murder attempt which led to one man falling into a coma. What will Kazuya do when he finds out that the man is none other than Akanishi Jin?

It was like any other day, Kazuya woke up, he ate his breakfast and he brushed his teeth. But it wasn’t a normal day; he felt it as a tremor in his heart, something that burst in his brain. Someone else might’ve called it a premonition; Kazuya called it the total destruction of his life. It was that day it happened.
Akanishi Jin was shot in the head and it was Kazuya who did it.
Over a year later, he finally knew enough to face the consequences.
His old life had been destructed but a new one would take its beginning. Kazuya was finally strong enough to face the truth.

Life in the ward was quite comfortable and he had a lot of time to think. Kazuya smiled as he looked down at the book in his lap, Jin’s dream had come true. He spoke to the older man every week through phone calls and they saw each other every month when Kazuya was allowed to have visitors. Jin had forgiven him and agreed that he’d made the right decision in the end.
Kazuya looked out through the bars in the window and hummed a soft melody that Jin had written for him several years ago. They were older and more mature but the love in their hearts stayed young and indestructible.
Kazuya’s fingers caressed the book cover over its title.
